When I stay at my mom's my brother and I will go here (often with his 3 kids) and we have a blast. This place is attached to the Oak Creek Market place - a 1970s effort to create a little old fashioned walking town with cute vintage shops which oddly has this very disco diner attached to the south end. Well, I never go into the cute part of this development, but I do go into the diner. The servers love kids here. They are always so nice when my nephews spill things toss food on the floor, and make a mess. I have no kids so this drives me nuts. How did this french fry get in my coffee? Oh, this kid who is related to me put it there. Don't expect anything fancy here. Just standard breakfast fare, but the owners and servers are all very nice and downright sweet and it is very close to those on the South end of South Milwaukee or the non-place urban realm that is the craptastic suburb of Oak Creak. The cute older couples of the area are fond of this place so expect to see a lot of older couples in here who drove over in that great Oldsmobile. I just have a blast here. This place is good if you want: Coffee, eggs, pancakes, and servers that don't mind picking up after kids tear the place up!

First time here this morning due to the Yelp reviews I read. Glad I stopped in. Was very pleased with my choice. The food was perfect. Market Place Cafe has a simple, yet satisfying breakfast menu covering all the breakfast options you would expect to have. My omelet was made perfectly! I am normally not a fan of American fries because they are often dry and over cooked but these were just right. The coffee was delicious and I regret not asking the waitress what kind they serve... next time! The service was IMPECCABLE. While I plan to return here because I honestly enjoyed my meal, I would return for the service alone. I was greeted immediately when I walked in. My waitress was friendly, genuine and prompt. I even met the owner who was serving coffee. She recognized that it was my first time dining in and introduced herself and told me a little about the family business. Excellent people and great experience has resulted in me now becoming a frequent customer.

We eat breakfast here at least twice a month. The staff is friendly and service is quick. It offers standard breakfast fare in a clean family-friendly restaurant. Your coffee cup is never empty.

Clean, good food, very fast and great service. They also do carry out which is a great alternative to a fast food drive through - about as fast and way better food. This is a 5 star family diner.

Favorite diner!! My husband and I are regulars, and enjoy the food. We normally eat breakfast but have taken advantage of the chicken and fish bucket take out. The staff is always pleasant. Zana will greet you with a huge smile and make you feel welcome! Highly recommended!!

Friendly environment! You get a ton of food!! You get soup or salad, entree, then dessert for a great price! Then it comes with bread, butter and crackers as well.

Excellent diner food! Great, friendly owner and staff! We will eat here again. Decor a little outdated but the food definitely makes up for it. Highly recommended!

I think I've had everything here. Love the marinara that comes with the mozzarella sticks. Stir fry is great! I'll always have a soup or salad. We Stop in for a quick bite or to celebrate birthdays. It's very clean and comfortable. Everyone is super friendly!

Stopped in for breakfast because it is close to where I live. The decor is very 80s throwback with oak stain and bright colors. Clean and friendly staff. The staff was very hard working if your coffee cup was going dry it was refilled if you placed you plate to the side it disappeared. I had the ham and eggs. Eggs where fine, ham was a good slice, potatoes where average they were homemade and not from a bag. The menu is average diner fare and nothing extraordinary. The food came out quickly, like a 4 minute ticket time. Like I stated average not memorable but nit horrible,

If you are over 60 (and I'm close), this might be the place to eat, but if you are a fan of tasty food, go somewhere else. The first red flag should have been that we were the only ones in the place at 5:30. It's a typical Greek style restaurant with a ton of meal choices. I had the stuffed green peppers, while the others at my table got the country fried steak and Reuben sandwich. I regret that I didn't take a picture of the hardened "gravy" over both the peppers and the steak and mashed potatoes. Everything is microwaved here and it showed. The reuben had 10 times more sour kraut then meat. Actually looked like one sheet of steak-ums!! The peppers had no taste and most was left on the plate. As part of our dinner, we got our choice of jello, pudding or ice cream. STAY AWAY from the pudding!! I'm not sure what it actually was, but the chocolate pudding was an odd tasting mush, with a watery residue around the edge of the cup. Breakfast might be a better choice for this one. Yuck.

I ordered a bacon and cheese omelette with their potatoes. I thought the breakfast was outstanding. The potatoes were not dry like you usually get and the omelette was very tasty. I'll be back!!

Yuck. An omelette with processed cheese? Really? I didn't think you could mess up a breakfast but this place is proof that you can.

What a great family restaurant. We go here for breakfast pretty much every time we are in Cudahy visiting relatives. The service is top-notch, friendly, and FAST. The food is perfectly done, and they really care about doing it right. My personal favorite is the Gyro Omelette with a good helping of Tzatziki (cucumber) sauce to smother all over the top. The fun thing is that even though we're only there occasionally, they frequently ask us if we want "the usual" - and they get it right. Wow.
